To provide opportunities for support and fellowship with friends and fellow retired educators,

To provide an organized framework though which retired educators may continue a life of service to fellow retirees, active colleagues, students, and their communities,

To respond to community needs and encouage retired educators to contribute their talents and experiences to the decision-making process in their communities, and

To familiarize retired and active educators with the benefits of membership in the local REA unit and state organization.
